Demolition of a NHS office building Birmingham
The project consisted of the demolition of a former NHS office building on the site of the very busy Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham.
The building was a two story office block located near the entrance of the hospital adjacent to the car park. Public & staff safety and welfare was of paramount importance at all times during the project due to the close proximity of the Hospital and car park.
Our demolition and site clearance work included included:
- Site set up included signage, fencing and welfare
- PBM acting as principal contractor
- Management of scaffold erection
- Management of notifiable asbestos removal
- Non-notifiable asbestos removal
- Demolition of the office unit including slab/foundations
- Site clearance
- Level whole site
